Stand no veihcles between here and the corner police dept. - notice the word vehicles spelled wrong.
This is a wonderful sample of americana in it's truest form. This is an old wood sign and it actually hung on a ople in the 1940's to instruct people not to park their cars between here and the corner. As you can see in the pictures, it hsa graffiti written on the back in pencil that says, red, crown bf 50 pete 50 ducky bob and rich. This is a wonderful sign, complete with mustard colored paint that is crackling in some areas. Also has what looks like tar, dripping down the middle of the front of the sign and on the back.
It did have a red border along the top and sides, but that paint has faded almost completely off with the years of weather. It measures approximately 19 1/2 inches wide adn 11 1/2 inches tall and is 3/4 of an inch thick. Make an awesome addition to noes collection.
